There is an infinite number of ways to waste a day.
Not a single one is known to gain a day.
Stefan during one of our coffee@1630h.

And after two crazy weeks of deadlines, of infinite hours in front of the computer, of plotting graphs again and again, of meetings, talks and nervousness, in this moment I stop and breath, and during 30 happy seconds I believe that I can do it all, and I smile because:
"Ah, not in knowledge is happiness, but in the acquisition of knowledge!"
No empire lasts...
Mark Denny.
How the Ocean Works.

An
Idea that I quite like and that I use to think nowadays. I found it
while reading "How the Ocean Works" trying to enlighten my mind... =)
Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.
Arthur Conan Doyle.
Sherlock Holmes.

And all this comes up because my numbers are misbehaving today, they are sticking
their tongues out and they are making fun of me, so I'm going to let
them free for a couple of days, let them get relaxed and maybe then I can
get a little bit of order...

aaahh!!! such a big word!! I guess
you already know that I like words more than others, and stupid is one
of them (I have to say that the Spanish one is better, "cenutrio", but I
couldn't find the proper translation in English, so I will stay with
stupid). Stupid, so powerful, so sonorous, so explicit...stupid, so
me...
And
why this? I was reading this web site that I often talk about,
Microsiervos, and they were talking about the International day of the
Backup, that I didn't know that was the 31st of March. In their post
they had a sentence like: if your data are important for you, you should
make a proper backup copy of them, because your electronics devices,
eventually, at some point, they will stop working. And it's true, either
because it is its time to die, because a truck run over them or because
you download an update that is not compatible with the operating system
of your device and then you have to format it, like me, and then you
will know that you are stupid because the last backup that you made was
15 years ago and you have lost everything...
So I
encourage you not to be stupid (like me) and use your time to make a
proper backup copy of your data, otherwise just think, what would happen
if in this moment an elephant steps on your laptop, iPad, iPhone or
something similar??? Scary, eh? so, come on, do it!!!
...find the rhythm in the mathematics and you will fare pretty well...
Joseph C. Kolecki.
An Introduction to tensor for students of Physics and Engineering.
Ah! y...feliz Lunes!!

I saw this sentence when I was
trying to fin answer to one of the many maths problems that I always
have, and I don't know how to solve, how to understand...but I don't
give up, that is why I'm here, isn't it?
Ah! and...happy Monday!!
